What causes cellulite or "orange peel" skin?
Contrary to popular belief, cellulite is not related to being overweight: it affects just as many slim women as those with fuller figures. Cellulite is usually the product of a hormonal or dietary imbalance within the adipose (fat) tissues, resulting in more lipogenesis (fat formation) than lipolysis (fat breakdown). The adipose or fat cells swell, compressing the blood vessels and connective tissue, giving the skin a dimpled or "orange peel" appearance. Approximately 85% of women over age 20 are affected by cellulite, but this condition is rare in men.
In women, fat cells are arranged in vertical chambers separated by bands of connective tissue and blood vessels. If the fat cells increase in size, they are forced upward, deforming the surface of the skin. This causes dimpling, or an orange peel appearance.
In men, the fat cells are arranged diagonal to the skin surface. When the skin is pinched, the fat cells move downward instead of upward, thus avoiding the orange peel look. Women's fat tissue structure is different from men's to facilitate fat storage for procreation. Since hormones play an important role in the lipid process, the key times for cellulite development are puberty, pregnancy and menopause. Unfortunately, exercise and reduced caloric intake alone are usually not enough to eliminate cellulite.

The Bodyfit™ technology used in Jouviance EcoRecomdeling Gel contributes to reducing the size and number of fat cells in the body. This technology inhibits the differentiation of preadipocytes to adipocytes, thereby stopping new cellulite formation. It also enhances the reversion of adipose tissue back to preadipocytes, thereby reducting existing cellulite. A grapefruit extract has been added to enhance the lipolytic effect.
Drainage
Cellulite leads to fluid accumulation between the fat cell deposits accentuating the skin's orange peel appearance. Bodyfit™ technology makes it possible to reduce fat cell size and release fluids trapped within the subcutaneous tissue.
Jouviance EcoRemodeling Gel also contains ginger root to stimulate the circulation. A purified extract of ruscus aculeatus is added to stimulate microcirculation, increase capillary tone and encourage fluid drainage.
Firming

1 - Work with your natural biorhythms
To prepare for the day ahead, your energizing hormone secretion is greater in the morning, including the process of lipolysis (fat elimination). The opposite happens in the evening, when your body prepares to rest and store fats (lipogenesis or fat formation). In the evening microcirculation is also activated, to help drain fluids and toxins from the subcutaneous tissues.
To take advantage of your body's natural biorythms to reduce cellulite formation:
In the morning apply EcoRemodeling Gel immediately after showering and wait an hour, if possible, before eating breakfast. This will help fat elimination.
In the evening, avoid eating sweets and high-fat foods to limit their storage in the form of fat. Apply EcoRemodeling Gel at night to encourage natural drainage.
2 - Exercise
Lifestyle has a major impact on body function. Exercising before meals, preferably in the morning when fat elimination is at its peak, will contribute to achieving visible, lasting results.
