ROTEL is a 50-room, non-profit motel facility serving patients
and families using Ottawa-area hospitals. It is conveniently
located on Smyth Road, next to the Children’s Hospital of
Eastern Ontario, Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre, National
Defence Medical Centre, Ottawa General Hospital and Royal
Ottawa Regional Rehabilitation Centre.

Short term accomodation and services. If you or your loved
one will be discharged from the hospital and need time to
recover before going home, our residence is the ideal place
for you.
We offer a trial and convalescent program for anyone requiring
short term care and accomodation for recovery and respite.
We provide a fully furnished suite, along with three meals
per day, 24 hour emergency response from professionally
trained staff, medication administration and assistance
with the activities of daily living.
